Website Technical Aspects Completed!
Another huge milestone achieved today!
The technical side of my website is now complete and now I can concentrate on building content.
The past week has seen me grapple with a few major technical challenges but now they are done and I am sooooooo excited.
I have:
- Added the Gravity Forms plugin and built a form that accepts information from users as they walk a track and then sends them the answers when they submit the form.
- Added the Search and Filter Plugin that enables users to select a specific track according to multiple search criteria.
- Added new search categories
I have also had very good interaction with our City Council and they seem keen to become involved with the project - this potentially equals a lot of traffic - and with some extra developments in the future, maybe some good money.
Thanks again for everyone's help over the past 2 weeks - some of my questions have been very technical and had me stumped for a few days but with your help, creative thinking and persistence, we have got there.
All the best you awesome WA Community!
Richard

Keep at it. I took a look at your sites and I think it just needs more content. Your steampunk site is a pretty good niche I think and if you keep working at it - you'll get there.
I think I would also look at adding specific Amazon steampunk related products rather than just their generic ads.
All the best.
Richard
Thanks for taking. A look Richard! The Amazon ads are only steampunk ads, it's the Adsense ones that aren't, unfortunately those can't be chosen...you can only uncheck the ones you don't want on your site but I have to keep checking and they don't seem to have steampunk artefacts....
Congratulations Richard, that must be a very satisfying achievement with great potential. Great work.
Great blog and update. I'm glad you've got your technical aspect the way you desire it to be. I wish you nothing but luck as typify move forward on this journey
Thanks. The website now has a lot of functionality that I think sets it apart from other options in my niche. Now its about getting the content quantity up.
All the best.
