I am using the WA keyword tool. I typed in a search which looked very promising. It showed 3 pages of 217 competition. Then I went to google to search that exact keyword but
when you searched for competition on google did you search from the keyword tool or did you go to your browser and type it in?
Oh that is why google showed such a high number. When you are at the keyword tool, click on view results and see what number of pages you get.
I think the Google search shows every single page result, and they never really display every page. They stop once the content and subject gets off on tangents and is not so relevant.
The keyword tool in WA is designed to show your competition and sites that rank for that keyword. What is the "3 pages"? On 3 pages of results in Google there are only about 36 sites average, displayed, cause that is what "fits?, no?
Sorry, What I meant is that on a typical Google page there are 10 or 12 results of sites or SERPs, (Search Engine Results Pages) so if the competition is 212 then how are you determining 3 pages? That is so many results for 3 pages.
There is the number of competing websites and I think that might be the 212 you are looking at. I am a beginner so I like to find some keywords with even less competitors than this, (more like 20 or less),but again, I am a beginner so maybe someone knows more on that.

Thanks, help is help. That's what this site is all about right? I really appreciate it. What I dId was search wa keyword tool and they was a training. From Robert, he said more than 50 searches, less than 300 and article power of greater than 8.... so... do youuse the WA keyword tool?

Im confused by this whole topic, what is QSR? what is Dig? What numbers do we want high? what numbers do we want low? ugg, how did I miss this in the training, it's like a foreign language.

I am trying to add a link from my first post to 1 of my other internal page. When I'm typing in the link in the URL field I type "http://www.truckerslifestyel.com/staying-safe
I think your URL is http://truckerslifestyle.com/staying-safe-2.
Notice that you wrote http://www.truckerslifestyel.com/ wrong. It's "style", not "styel". As others said, it's always best to copy URLs, not type. :)

Try to copy and paste it and see if it works. There should be a / after safe and take out the www,

I think your URL is http://truckerslifestyle.com/staying-safe-2.
Notice that you wrote http://www.truckerslifestyel.com/ wrong. It's "style", not "styel". As others said, it's always best to copy URLs, not type. :)

I transfered my domain name from go gatorhosting to WA hosting when I signed up for premium with WA. I walked through the steps of changing the DNS and all. My site manager s

I was hoping for a little advise PLEASE! I had a site prior to finding WA. I am trying to transfer from go-daddy.
I got a transfer code from go-daddy - successful transfer.
WA - Cancelled transfer.
Now what? My site is in deep cyberspace I guess. What happened? More importantly, How can I get it transferred? I am better off just changing the name a litte and starting over?
I had to check with site support at WA as I had a similar problem. I told them my problem, they told me how to fix it. This is my best advice to you.

Yes as a premium member it opens up alot more training in the structuring of content. Content is stressed daily in the Premium Membership amongst other things such as recieving better rankings. I didnot add affiliate programs until I had enough content to do so. Besides it takes some time before getting approved by affiliate programs. By going Premium I have seen a big difference in the appearance and content of my website and learned alot of stuff I didn't know before. It was well worth the investment from my point of view.
