Premium Determination

Yesterday, I offered myself this job. I sifted through all of my qualifications compared them to the posted requirements, and I concluded there was no one better. I told myself there will be a lot of unpaid hours upfront, but they will be reimbursed ten-fold.
Last night, I talked with my husband about taking this new job. I told him that a lot of hours would be taken from our family now, but they will be returned soon. I told him that, while I will miss spending all our available time together as a family, some boy-time for Dad and Son will be great. And Mom bringing in extra money will make life a little more fun.
Today, I formally accepted the job, with my family on board! I finished up my last two personally appointed tasks, and now I feel like I'm really to jump into Premium with both feet.
A Note on Goals:
Personally, I have a hard time "listing goals".
I've always been stumped when asked to list goals. For me, I need to take a glimpse in the future, like in A Christmas Carol when the ghosts take Ebenezer to the future. I need to write a description of what I see as I'm looking through the window in the future. Then, out of that narrative, I can conclude a "list of goals." I want to share because I felt like I had a breakthrough with this revelation this past week.

I love the comparison to offering and accepting a job. That's exactly the right way to look at it, except that in this job you are working exclusively toward your own future and dreams rather than a third party employer. Keep going to work!
