Get Started With Word Press
Regardless of the title, this is my 'Getting Started Page'!
I will admit that to 'get started with wordpress' is only a part of the discussion I wish to bring. Word press is used by probably millions of people online. It is a wonderful tool for all. And yet, it is better in the hands of some than others.
Allow me to explain. When I got started with Wealthy Affiliate, I came from a multi-year expanse of time trying to find an internet business that wasn't shady. Almost all of these were using Word Press. Almost all of them had some element of scam to them.
I was guarded and highly frustrated and suspicious. As some of you are. People were glad to take my money and reluctant to help me in any way. I never even got to a place where I felt I had 'gotten started!'
Until now. Finally! I have gotten started! And can track my progress! In a community of people that treat each other like family and are all geared for success. At first, I considered it a miracle! All those fruitless years leading me to WA. And we use Word Press. Irrelevant without the appropriate business model.
So, let me share my opinions about what is relevant. Maybe there are a few successful online marketers out there who treat people like crap. But not many. And the ones that do exist have to continually change their concept for that very reason. They are constantly 'on the run'.
I was lucky to find WA.
Kyle and Carson treat me like family. They allowed me to have a seven day look to see what they were all about. They allowed me a minimum Premium price when I was ready. They signed me up quickly and quickly exposed me to the site rubix area to find the web site model I liked. They quickly briefed me on the importance of a theme and a 'niche', (The subject to support in your website. Something you love or are good at.) They introduced me to the community. (Brothers and sisters, always willing to help).
And then, booyah! I was in the training! They showed me how to use Word Press and all the nuances of affiliate marketing. I am learning and will probably not stop learning anytime soon!
Some of those things are: the importance of keywords and the importance of content. Also, Kyle has a style of using keywords called 'low hanging fruit', which is pretty cool and useful for getting ranked by Google.
Some people call us Wealthy Affiliate University. We even use it in our adverts. That's the learning style, a university style, that makes us so popular and so successful.
If you are anything like me, all you ever wanted was an online opportunity that was honest and reasonable with honor and integrity. Now that you have heard a bit of my story, I hope it helps you with your decision. God bless your search and your effort!
