Got my one year badge just now!
I knew it was coming up pretty soon. So, what have I accomplished in a year? Two websites. 211,000 words, 125 articles published. Haven't made any money yet, but not for lack of trying.
What's great is, I have a writing portfolio now, so I have a marketable skill as a freelance writer. That's a really good thing.
Right now, to be honest with you, my feelings are mixed about Wealthy Affiliate. I have really worked hard at this, and I just wish I could see some monetary gain.
I'm in for the long haul. I went yearly just before the black Friday deal was announced, then paid for another year to take advantage of the deal. So we will see what the next 2 years brings.

Wow!!! I have been here now for 4 days (as a newbie) and feel a bit disheartened and disgusted over your challenge in making money. In my humble opinion I must comment on your situation, that you are still so optimistic and positive after giving it a year with no bucks to show for your vain effort. I am on a tight budget, and don't think that could satisfy me, and after my short stay I found out that customers of W/A are not making any money after 6 months.. After your stating that nothing is in your in your bank account after a year is enough to make me give up my challenge. OK. I have thought it over, and it really does not look good.
