What type of different jobs that might be a scam for a home business?
The scams are usually obvious and come with promises of making you thousands of dollars. Real jobs usually require no payment and actual work.
Online rebate processing is one example I could think of off the top of my head.
There's also link posting jobs, which is a term the scammers use to describe affiliate marketing so people would think it's that simple but if someone is presented with the opportunity as such then that is a scam.
I can't think of any others off-hand right now but those two are popular types of scams presented as jobs.
ANY job or activity that is:
1: Illegal, (Requires no further explanation)
2: Is a con-trick for example, ruses that are designed to simply con you out of your cash or goods, i.e. you gain nothing at all for your money, time or efforts, this could be anything from illegal schemes to someone simply telling/selling you a crock of $h*t.
3: 'Too good to be true' for example, those schemes that promise you things like unbound riches with the tiniest amount of work, whilst forgetting to mention it takes 25 years and/or a huge amount of knowledge and resources to be able to work 1 hour a day and earn $25 per minute, in other words, said scheme will fail for all but the top 1% who are creaming you, MLM ‘style’ is a great example of this as are schemes where the ‘platform’ is not in itself illegal or a scam and could work if you know the product and the market inside out, but for the average folks, the ability to actually make any real cash is severely limited or highly prohibitive (i.e. such as on forex) due to lack of knowledge, understanding and often enough capital to make the ‘idea’ work.
Again these could be illegal schemes or simply just preying on the un-educated and those who are looking for the easy life or are desperate to find something better in life and though the product in itself may not be a 'scam' the fact they advertise to you the offer of a better life, whilst smiling and taking your cash, knowing full well you will probably fail, is, in my opinion, a scam.
4: Any combination of the above.
All work that is genuinely successful (illegal or not, con or not), takes real effort, takes lots of time and on-going investment in your skills in order for you/people to become knowledgeable and gain a real understanding of the intricacies of the job at hand.
Many here will have come across many of these 'scams' and what’s nice about WA is this, it gives you ALL the tools you require to make your efforts worthwhile, WA makes no false claims of a magical income appearing whilst you are asleep, it makes no promise of unbound success from five keystrokes a day, what it does say, to me at least, is IF you are able and willing, to put in the time, learn about the skills that you require to be successful, take note of the lessons and read some of the posts from experienced folks in the community, then you can become a skilled on-line marketer and blogger and this is what will make you a success.
Best wishes.

I bought my domain at wealthy affliate and a sign said i could use my domain now... i dont understand why, could someone please explain this to me?
You need to build your site Roxanne. Go to the site rubix tab to the left and then site builder. You will be able to use the new domain you just got and start building your new site.
As John said, once you purchase your domain you can now use it. You can either build a website on this domain or you can transfer your existing website to this domain.
Here is some training on how to do this: How to Transfer a SiteRubix Website to Your Own Domain And you can see an manage all of your domains here.

Do let us know if you need a hand with anything at all moving forward. :)
Hi Roxanne, I would suggest you check in with Site Support: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
