3-Month Goal Done!

This is just a real quick blog post.

Today when I opened my siterubix email I found another good news. Amazon has confirmed my application as an amazon associate and decided to blog this since it is also one of my goals.

Likewise, with this post, I may get some insights from existing amazon associates on how I could maintain my status, especially with the DON'Ts.

Why I'm so thrilled?

First, I was denied by several other affiliate programs that I have applied for including eBay Partners which by other members' experience was very easy to get approval.

And I was stuck for quite some time with my training at Level 3 (Lesson 3) because I can't get affiliates related to my niche. I almost gave up, but thanks to the encouragement I got from this awesome community.

Seeing posts and comments about Amazon Associates requirements so I carefully planned my approach. Knowing that Amazon got all the products I can promote for my niche so I don't want to blow that slim chance on my face.

I created more articles while waiting for other affiliates to reply to me (which some didn't even bother) so I could continue with my training. I've waited for about 3-4 weeks when I got one affiliate approval related to my niche.

Then it was time to apply for Amazon Associate. Fortunately, the process was faster than I was expecting based on the posts I see. Could be that I have already more than enough articles on my website and I have tried to keep my website readers friendly by limiting the ads displayed especially in between page posts.

Made 3 qualifying sales in January 2022. And today after opening my email I got the confirmation that my application has been approved. I was expecting that I have to wait for the confirmation not until 180 days is reached.

Well, I don't have to worry any longer but I must always pay attention to the terms of being an Amazon Associate to ensure I don't get any violations.
