can I upload to the premium now or do I have to wait until I have finished all my lessons, and secondly, how do i pay?

If you're ready, just do it now. There isn't any reason to wait if you have found value in the starter membership. When you click on the upgrade link they will give you all the payment options. Click on your account settings on the lower left hand of this screen to set up your payment options.
