Finally, get to edit this post lol yay :)

I received the 6 months badge which is an exciting milestone. It honestly does not feel like six months. When, I first found Weathly Affiliate I thought it's too good to be true. An actual program just for affiliate marketers, entrepreneurs, and bloggers.

I did what anyone new in the business would and that is find reviews by trusted websites to create my own conclusion. I came across a ton of usually old YouTube videos related to affiliate marketing. My advice would be not to watch that junk, it's typically misleading and fills peoples heads with false hopes.

My journey started on Day 1, just like all new subscribers. I first gave it a chance and did the free training to get a taste of what to expect when it came to the education/training. It did not take me a few days before I found myself logging in everyday completely hooked wanting to continue the lessons to learn everything.

That's when I signed up to become a Premium member in order to continue and it's been worth every penny to me. I finished the Basic training and the Affiliate Bootcamp in my own pace. Best part is if we forget something or want to re-visit a lesson we easily can.

Since October 2017 until present time I now have six websites I am working on. My oldest blog is my first one that I had named The Fashion Guild but recently decided to change the name to Deers & Roses. The rest of the blogs are fairly new projects I am working on little by little every day. I have to switch things up otherwise I find myself getting bored and that's just not good for me.

Whoever is reading is wondering if I make any revenue with any of my websites and the answer is no I do not. I'm sure some might "Well, you hit the six months mark you should be". The answer as to why I am not is because despite the training saying sign up for Amazon Affiliate so quickly I found out that is actually a bad idea.

It is difficult for many to be patient and stick to being an affiliate marketer. It is important to build up my website first and generate seriously good traffic. My goal is to finish my 1st year before I decide the next step. I have read successful blogs take at least 2 years to become good enough for long term. I always go with my gut feeling and will know when I'm ready. I look forward to finishing my 1st year here at WA and to many more years. :)
