I must admit, most of my videos are made with my PC sharing my screen. I use Camtasia to create and edit my videos, it's something that I have used for many years.
I have never used the screen recorder on my phone, but now you have mentioned it, I think I may give it a try.

Great to hear that Roy. I use Camtasia also. Still a version from 2021. I bought an update Camtasia 2022 a few years ago but it was buggy so I returned to 2021 version and haven't bought upgrades than.
In your experience, are there some benefits in newer versions?
I guess around three years ago, Roope, I purchased something called a maintenance package, it costs around £60 per year, but they do have special offers on from time to time.
The maintenance package gives me regular updates (so I always have the latest version) and there are quite a few updates each year, more than you would think. It also gives telephone and email support and it also allowed me to take their certification course which is something that I can display on LinkedIn and is a good way to go deeper with Camtasia.
Another benefit is that the new versions have AI features, which include background removal, without using a green screen, it's not perfect, but I believe it's something they're working on all the time. The maintenance works out cheaper than purchasing upgrades.
