I want to screenshot parts of websites for reviews.
Hey Ron,
As for any copyright laws, please always Google search to see if you can find an answer, and if you cannot, then contact a lawyer as it is always best to be safer than sorry.
It all depends on what you want to screen prints of which is why it is best to check, check and double check. Law suits can be very pricey if you screen print the wrong item(s).
Hope you find this helpful.
What are the copyright laws for using screenshots in blogs?
I want to screenshot parts of websites for reviews.
I agree with Trish! I would Google the information first. I have seen bloggers get sued for images that weren't theirs and that can be pretty pricey. On top of that, the bloggers that were sued said it was scary. One article a lady was sued $7500 for one image so, I would be very careful when it comes to screenshots.
One thing I know for sure I wouldn't do is screenshot their logo. I have used screenshots before, but, then again, I turned around and removed most of them when I came across the bloggers that were sued.
Until I find out what is right or wrong, I tread lightly.

They won't let me comment anymore. The last time I signed up was three years ago. I didn't have a grasp on how to do better commenting.
Hi Ron, I see that you are just reconnecting, with WA after some absence, it was a different season way back then when you joined, if you were banned then I would get in contact with the platform.
