Using Wordpress Editor is one of the easiest areas of wordpress in my estimation. Once you start to realize it's potential all avenues jump out at you. Your toolbar is similar to MS Word so it is something familiar to most of us. Looking at it you may not realize all it's features until you expand it using the toolbar toggle icon which expands to show all the tools such as the text colors available and your undo and redo icon. You can add media such as images, audio and video by uploading and inserting them into the body of your text easily.Other features such as highlighting, bullet or numbered lists, language features and links are all right there in front of you. Other features let you add tags for your seo to help your copy get exposure with search engines. You can keep a draft copy before publishing and if you do publish and want to you can change it back to a draft copy easily even changing the publish dates forward or backward. Importing from word is easy through the word icon so it will work properly in wordpress which is a different format. Added features such as an opt-in form can be easily inserted with the insert icon as well. Don't feel that the edit features showing on the top of your website is visible to visitors because it only shows up for you while editing. All in all there is no confusion working in wordpress that I can see so it should be a breeze for the newbie to adapt to.
