Entrepreneurs
Working from home is the ideal way to make a living. It is a great alternative to having a boss. You can work the right way or the wrong way and it is all up to you. I know because I have been self-employed for 42 years and it is an up and down world. You are responsible for your paycheck and you can be rewarded well or not. Business is always up and down and you have to understand the ups and downs. You have to work to fill those gaps to be moneterily successful which is something that working for someone else only requires you to show up and do your job. Discipline is of the highest importance. First of all you have to be flexible for when an idea or event pops up that needs your undivided attention you have to jump on it. Sometimes you waste your time and sometimes it’s a winner. Being in the right place at the right time is only a matter of the many chances you take. It’s a numbers game as you have heard over and over again and if you are not in the game your number will not come up. The old adage if at first you don’t succeed try, try again is very true.
Some people’s attitude is you are only going to spin your wheels but Rome wasn’t built in a day and my name isn’t Pompeii. I say give it a shot for many folks come from the ground up, no silver spoon for them and they are better for it. Success is not as worthy if it is handed to you, it is nice to have help but doing it on your own says something about your character and your ability to adapt to stressful situations. Being an entrepreneur is not for everyone but if you can start your endeavor as a 2nd adventure while having a guaranteed income life will certainly be easier if you fall on your face. But you have to get back up no matter how many times you fall down for your reward will come. Sometimes you are right at the crest in the hill when you fall back 10 steps but eventually with the right attitude and venture you crest that mountain and you make it over. The hardest part is staying there.
As one man said, Benjamin Franklin he never gave up, Albert Einstein he never gave up, Oliver Twideldee whose he? He gave up!

A great post Ronald - it can be either feast or famine in my world as a freelance writer, but I still adore it! :)
A good read. I'm brand new to this so I am definitely not "quitting my day job" anytime soon!
All the best.
