Tragedy
Don't you think it's getting a sad world we live in when people around the world raise millions of pounds for the devastated people of Nepal after this appalling tragedy.
But a boxer Floyd Mayweather is paid nearly 130 million dollars for a few hours work me personally I cannot see how they justify this. What do you think?

You can bet your bottom dollar that the government will take a large chunk of that money. I know that I would not have the discipline or the courage to put in all the work and take all the beatings that he has done to gain it. Don't get me wrong, I would be devastated if one of my grandsons decided to take up boxing. I admire anyone who has worked their way to the top of their profession and is capable of entertaining the masses with their skill.
Hi Hilary
I wish I could disagree with you about the government taking a portion of the money but I can't the sad truth is that's how all government's operate no matter which country it may be. But in times of any natural disaster it's shows humanity can make a difference.
and also how can anyone justify the amount of money that Floyd Mayweather or any top sport stars earns. When you have other professions who are devoted and dedicated to saving lives like doctors, fire service etc. who work long hours and paid only a fraction of what these sport stars earn that's what I disagree with and can't justify.

Those are the rules of capitalism. Market value. Sadly, in our often cynical world it is about the value and if something has a lobby.
What every single one of us can do is donate whatever he can and start heartfelt, unselfish calls for action.
Hi Aurorasa
I agree in part what your saying about Market value. but still cant understand how you justify this.
I have commented before on this matter and don't see why all these top sport's people should be paid this kind of money. When at least
65% of the world population are ether on poor wages or living in poverty.
Don't get me wrong I like to watch certain sports like everyone else
just disagree with the money they receive.

It is awful Ronnie. A big time photographer just copied ordinary people's pictures on Instagram and sold the prints for $90,000 each. It is insane. He stole the pictures of these poor women, mostly.
