Night Shift Leaves me Drained!

I've been slacking! I'm sure everyone has those times when you know what you need to get done but you can't find the time to do it. I started a new job and it's a 12 hour shift that works nights right now. I've never had a night shift job before so it's something I've had to get used to! It seems all that I want to do is sleep and the other areas of my life aren't getting the attention that they need.

Before I started my new job I was able to focus on WA and was motivated to do my posts and create my website. I am still motivated but I can't find the energy to get the posts done. I try to log on at work and get the tasks in training done but things are so much easier on a laptop!

I know that I will be able to find the time and the energy to accomplish my WA goals. I've thought about maybe using the time that I can't sleep on my off days and channeling that energy into my WA work.

Everyone experiences setbacks, this is mine. But I know that this energy lag won't last forever and I'll hop right back on full force!

I just retired from a career that had me working 3 12-hour days, and then off for 3. Going back from the 3 off, I went to 3 12-hour nights, and then 3 days off again. Days, nights, days, nights....and I did this for 20 years.

It wore me down at times, but I was thankful to have the job. Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing.

Don't get discouraged with the night shift. You will find a way to set your priorities and work with your website.

Trust in the Lord.

Peaks and valleys.... in every business there are peaks and valleys.. that’s why it is important to remember goals are built on sand ... they adjust ... change. ... move .... as long as you build your Dream in concrete ... and know that no matter what or how long or how many goals shift in the sand you willl succeed...
Enjoy your Journey

Yes, sometimes we need to bite the bullet! And to adjust as quickly as possible is important. Watch your health though. have enough sleep on day time. Take good care. Florentino

Life changes things, so just roll with the punches. Just be consistent and do what you can until things change.
