A New Start

For the past month, I have been struggling with a lot of anxiety and depression. I know there are a lot of people in the world that deal with emotional distress, but sometimes it feels like you are the only one. The holidays were a hard time for me because I kept going back to the past and thinking about how things were then and compare them to how things are now.

One of the greatest things to be learned about going to the past can be read in the Bible if you read it. "Remember Lot's Wife". I think that teaching can be applied to all of our lives regardless of our religions or spiritual preferences. When we look back to our pasts we forget to look forward. We often spend so much time wondering what we did wrong or why things happened the way they did that we forget to put our energy into our future.

I have recently decided to try my best to focus on my future. Being a member of Wealthy Affiliate has helped me to discover who I am again and the talents that I have. I have always loved to write and express my emotions in journaling. I have loved teaching but I never really thought that having a blog to record my day to day activities was something people would want to read. I love that at WA, I can create a blog AKA Website, and have the content be geared twoard something I love to talk about, Happiness. I have used WA as a way to look forward to the future.

I am so happy to see so many people succeed. I am learning new things everyday about how to make my content better and I see my posts improve every time I write. It's amazing what a month or two of training can do.

I hope everyone has a successful future and tries to not look back to the past. We have to remember the things that happened, take the good things that came from our past and move on.
