According to my Site health, my site is using an older version to the PHP programming.

Do I need to upgrade to the 7.4 version? If yes, how do I go about doing that?

Featured Comment

I suggest creating a hosting support ticket here, they can handle this for you.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

You can also find this within the Websites menu under the "SiteSupport"(to the left). This is where you should go if you ever have loading issues with your website, email issues, plugin/theme issues, or if you accidentally do something that adversely impacts your website.

This support is 24/7 and upon submitting your ticket we will look into it right away Toni-ann!

Thanks Kyle

Hi Rod,

I sent a ticket to the Site Support 3 days ago about the same matter, they said we don't have to worry about it.

Here is their response to my query:
"Please note that your website is hosted on our new server class, having the latest PHP version 7.3.9, which is highly optimized and secured.

So, you do not need to worry about it, and you can safely ignore this warning.

However, if you face any actual issue on your website due to the PHP version, then do let us know, and we will assist you with it."

Ok. Thanks

Request site support to do it.

You don't, no, you will more than likely be on the latest servers running PHP 7.3.9

SiteSupport will upgrade to 7.4 when appropriate, but there is nothing wrong with 7.3.9

You can check your version by logging into WordPress and going to Tools -> Site Health -> Info -> WordPress -> PHP Version

this will help, if it doubt contact site support, thanks Phil

My Site Health has informed me that my Wordpress address is not set up to use HTTPS by default.

How can I rectify this?

Go to Websites (left side) => Site Manager, click on Details under your domain name and then scroll down to go to Site SSL (HTTPS). Turn it On, and you will be good to go. Otherwise, contact Support.
Tom

Thanks. It has been done.

You’re welcome and glad to hear that.

Contact support. They will sort it out quickly. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

Hello everyone.

Facebook has a "boost post" option when you are sharing posts on your page. It comes with a fee of course, and claim that the post will reach 1000s of peo

Yes it can be worth it, depending on the post.

When you Boost a post on Facebook, the post is delivered to the News Feeds of users who fit within your general targeting parameters. As noted, clicking the little blue "Boost” button next to a post on your Facebook business Page is easy, and it will see your content reach more people than it would have organically.

Ok will consider it then. Thanks

Never used it but I guess it will depend on your message and what the ROI would be. It would interesting to see if anyone has tested it. I am not sure its as focussed as a facebook ad campaign as you are pushing content. Again I guess it down to what you want to do with it? It is generally about increasing reach rather than engagement. Interesting questions.

It's a personal choice. I don't use it because people used to see my posts naturally until FB showed it less so they could now get us to pay for what was normal w/o paying.

Mel

Ok. Thanks for responding.

I went to use my Google Console and realized that the property was put in incorrectly. Its has the property as

Add a new website

Thanks.

You are very welcome

You can add a new website and put the one that is supposed to be there. Make sure to copy and paste

Apparently I didnt make the mistake of leaving out the "s". As you can see in the picture, the https is not allowed.

I'm still trying to do it over though. Now there is another question, what is DNS configuration and where can I find it in WordPress?

I figured it out. Thanks.
