My First Blog On WA
Ok I thought I started a blog at the Website part of the course which appears to me to be WordPress which is another blogging or blogger tool. Nowadays people tend to get the two mixed up. I perceive a website as HTML created webpages. Usually a web designer uses hand codedHTML or a WISISYG (What You See Is What You Get) tool or a combination of both. I use to use MS FrontPage 2003 and still have a copy of it handy. Although the web has migrated to HTML5 which I am in the process of learning. Now that the Web is evolving into something very different all the time. It's dynamically growing everyday something new hits. The advent of Mobile devices has changed everything and will continue to do so. If this sounds like a lecture it is. I'm a college professor of Information Technology and Computer Science in the greater Tampa Bay Area in Florida. I find the entire evolution of the WWW an incredible life changing experience. A place where one can live out their wildest dreams in the comfort of their living room. As a lifelong academic i'm always learning. I'm never bored however with Web 2.0 as it is called. Wealthy Affiliates is of interest to me. To me it's a learning experience. So here I am learning more. I'm glad to be learning as it's my thing, I hope to succeed in everything I attempt this is no different. Well enough from me for now. Thanks - Dan
