OK... So I decided to take charge of some things in the process here at WA. If you remember my last post regarding likes, I think they're important. It shows you viewed a member's post, blog, training, tutorial etc. and took the time to affirm their efforts.

That being said, it makes for a lot of emails. This is how I treat a like with respect:

I have them all go to a separate folder in my email. You can do this by placing a filter in your email. Go to SETTINGS/FILTERS/ADD

Then you name your folder. I use LIKES. Then populate the criteria fields: DELIVER TO "LIKES" if:

• From contains: "no-reply@notify.wealthyaffiliate.com"(match case)
• Body contains: "Great news" (match case)
• To/CC contains: "Your Name" (match case)

This puts all your likes together. I then go down the list and glance at the names of the senders. I'm really quite amazed at the number of people I know by name or handle in just over two months!

I believe this practice reinforces my relationships with the people in the community who care to communicate with me. Then I delete and start all over again.
