Scam.....Maybe.....Maybe Not
This is about my Website www.iluvdarts.com. Now I got into this from a cold call, the company I won't mention at this stage. Unable to get work because of my age and not having a trade to fall back on. I turned to the internet.
This all began at the end of February 2014 - beginning of March 2014. Now I won't put a figure on what it cost to have the website set up for me, but it wasn't cheap. Then I get a call from another company to look after my business interests like Company Name, Tax purposes and so on. Now I have a business with people looking after my interests etc. So I filled in all the appropriate paper work at another cost ( actually at a lot of cost ) But I do have my own guy to train me and keep in touch with all my advertisers that approach me and I just forward the e-mails on to him to deal with it, after all it has cost me. We use to keep in touch by phone but now only by e-mail and not as frequent as we use to. Not happy with the amount of traffic going to my site I sent an e-mail off to the Company who set the site up but my e-mail came back as e-mail failure. Still able to make contact with my trainer or whatever he is and he was still waiting for info to give me ( so he says ) as they were down loading more data that may help. That was on the14/06/2014 still waiting. The reason I haven't mentioned names or company names is that I'm trying to salvage the site so just biding time hoping all will work out in the end. There is a lot more detail I could go into but I just wanted to put it out there. Scam.....Maybe.....Maybe not !!

Hey Robert, your experience is only a minor set back to set you up for something big. That's how life "throws the darts" if you know what I mean. It's going to get better for you once you persevere.
Thankyou for the nice comment, I have been just hanging in there and positive, if it is true then maybe I will be able to salvage the site with the help of the WA community. Anyhow will see what as you said, what life throws at you. Once again thanks and all the very best to your journey.
I am sorry you are having difficulty. I know from experience what it's like to buy into something along the lines that you did and then one day they stop returning you phone calls or even worse you get "We are sorry the number you have dialed is no longer in service"
Been there done that.

I do have access to my dashboard and I have made and requested the odd change. Thanks for the advice though I'll see how things pan out.
Perhaps offer to help out as part of your training (i.e., in order to look over their shoulders and ensure that they're actively working on your site and not charging you for nothing) -- just a thought. Hope it all works out for you!

Dont ya just hate people that are out to make money off the back of inocent hard working individuals ? I hope that things turn around with your website and I am sure that we are part of a community here that cares about our success and not just about taking our hard earned cash.
Hi Gareth, thanks for the comments and thanks for following me. I haven't given up on it yet, just waiting to see what happens and by not posting blogs on it they may make contact with me. The positive that has come out of this okay I might have lost a lot of money in the venture, but it makes me more determined to succeed here at WA.
