My First Two Months at Wealthy Affiliate
I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for not quite 2 months and I am excited about all I have already accomplished. I realize that I may be progressing slowly for some, but I would rather consistently ply along and internalize all that I am doing. I also have many other interests and obligations as most of you do as well. But I am thrilled with all I have learned thus far. The training I have already received is very well done. I really appreciate the videos in the training. If I forget something, I can go back and watch it again. I also love the help search bar next to the WA logo. I have found more recently all sorts of additional videos by other WA members. Those are also extremely helpful. A special thanks to all of you memebers who personally helped me as I was getting started--and still continue to help when needed.
My accomplishments have been much the last month or so. I am now about to enter level 3. Things are getting more excited all the time. My website is up and running, and I am enjoying all the writing about my niche. From the picture I have added here you can perhaps imagine my niche. I have chosen storybook dolls. These are dolls and animals that are inspired by fairy tales, children's books, or classics. I also plan to write about some of these classic fairy tales, etc. and share some insights I have gained while pondering them. It is great to know hpow to best create content and share them on social media platforms. Images were a challenge at first because they were not coming out quite right in their overall appearance. I had a battle with cropping along the way, but I think I have subdued that hickup. For those of you new and still wondering about images, keep in mind that I do not think they can be modified once you hit post. Of course text can always be modified and edited as well as deleting images; but cropping must be done beforehand--before publishing in Wordpress. Just a headsup for all those who are knew. My saying this may save you the hickup I experienced.
My goals in the next 3 months are to get a post published at least once or twice a week and to start using affiliate marketing within my website. In the next 6 months I hope to be generating income from this website both by linking to Amazon or other such places as well as the dolls and animals I create myself. Hopefully by then I will have created enough posts to be more established and can begin incorporating other techniques for online business success.
Special thanks to all the friends I have met here who have put up with my pestiferous questions along the way. I look forward to the many others of you I have yet to meet. Thanks Carson, Kyle, and you Ambassador members. You are a tremendous blessing!
The longer you are part of this community and taking in the training, the more you will realise that everything else just pails onto a cocked hat & believe me, in 18 years I have seen it, been part of it and thought I was a good internert marketer, which I am.
What WA has taught me and continues to do so on a daily basis, is to become a SMART marketer... Thats the main difference
