The Questions We Don't Ask

Most, if not all of us start out on this online entrpreneurship journey with a grand sense of excitement and expectation.

You've read a few online blogs about how successful you can be. Seen inspiring YouTube videos that puts your mindset in gear for conquering the online world.

Maybe you've even spoken to a friend or an acquaintance who gave rave revues of their own experience.

Finally, you decided this is the life for you, and here you are! A budding affiliate marketer and content creator at Wealthy Affiliate.

WA is exhilarating. An adrenaline rush of a completely different kind. Within a month you have your site indexed, blogs following close behind and a Community of support that's second to none in terms of technical and even emotional support.

So why do you still sometimes feel like it just isn't coming together the way you have hoped? Or maybe even the way you portray it to everyone else.

You have questions but are either afraid to ask or don't know how to.

Well you gotta step up to the plate and put those questions out there. Get feedback from your peers; feedback from persons in your same shoes.

Better yet get feedback from those who have walked the road before and understand exactly where you're coming from.

The questions we don't ask can be the difference between success and failure; it can be the difference between making a breakthrough in 1 year as opposed to 3.

This is not the time to reinvent the wheel. I am pretty sure that 99% of the questions you have can be answered by someone here in WA.

And that someone is more than likely willing to have PMs with you directly to help bring resolve.

Don't let an unasked question trample and crush the excitement and exhilaration you felt when you first began. Remember, you're the "little engine that could" and there's no mountain high enough to stop you from reaching your destination.

I struggled with interpreting and using the information provided by the various Analytics platforms. This information of course provides various metrics to guide my decisions on what's working and what's not on my site.

To be honest I'm still struggling with it but I did ask a question and I got tons of useful feedback to assist. I'm working my way through it and I'm in a much better place. Still have work to do but I'm climbing that mountain.

What questions did you ask along the way that made a big difference in your journey

here at WA?

I can't wait to hear your answers. I'm sure a lot of members will benefit from them.

You know what to do. Drop me a like and start sharing those questions.

You are 100% right Robbie.. There are always people here in the community to help you out with everything.

There are no Dumb or Stupid questions. Which is what most people think about their own questions, I know because I used to think that too.

Asking a question here means to others, that you are working hard and willing to learn. And they are more than happy to help.

Great Post Robbie!

Sheena

Glad you enjoyed reading it Sheena and thanks for taking the time to give your feedback.

I just really wanted to emphasise the power of asking a question and that we should not let little stumbling blocks like these get in our way of success.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Reinventing the wheel is such a waste of time and energy. If you ever run into a bump and tell me who doesn't, one time or the other? Just step up and ask the question and someone would be good enough to answer.
The community spirit here is what distinguishes Wealthy Affiliate from the rest of the pack.

That's right Dada we've got it made here. I'm just hoping everyone takes advantage of everything WA has to offer.

Hope you have an enjoyable Sunday!

Very thought provoking post indeed Roberta.

I tend not to asked a lot of questions, I seem to prefer to
research my questions, by using the search box or simply
viewing answers to posted questions.

Also, in my time zone, I'm usually online when most of the world is asleep, which can help contribute to the delay in having my posted question answered.

In the short time I've been here, I've seen a lot of repeated questions, as new members joins this platform.
I can't image what it's like for those who been here for years.

One of the first questions I asked was in a PM to Diane, who politely helped me out, and said "don't be shy..."

Keep climbing that mountain.

Melanie

You know what I think, repeated questions give the opportunity for new persons to answer. I feel really proud when I'm able to answer a question and help someone out.

It also shows growth of the members in terms of knowledge. Moving from not knowing to be able to answer and help someone else out.

Doing research yourself is great and I think everyone should do that as well. It's just that sometimes you still don't get it maybe because of the technical explanations sometimes. That's where fellow WA members come in.

Thanks for sharing your experience I always appreciate hearing from you.

Have an enjoyable Sunday!

Agree, repeated questions gives opportunity for new members to answer; I never looked at it from that angle.
Thanks for shedding a new light.

Questions eh - there isnt one that I never asked. I have asked so many that I have lost count and I sense most people on here are the same, thank God for Site Support and all those at WA. And irrespective of what we learn I also sense there are new things to learn every day anyways- keeps us on our toes

To being receptive to studying - students of success arise 🤣

I love that phrase "Students of success arise" - that made my Sunday Chris.

Hope you have a wonderful day and nice hearing from you as usual.

I asked some really basic questions at the start Roberta. I quickly learned to ask about anything in the training I got stuck on.
Sometimes I learned it was no longer relevant so I could ignore it and other times I would get the answer I needed.
The best part of getting lots of answers is that at least one will give you the light bulb moment. Each person puts the answer a different way, so one of the ways will resonate with you and you find it easy to integrate the new knowledge.

I like that part too Linda, the multiple response from different angles. You're sure to find an approach that suits you.

Thanks for sharing that perspective.

I hope you have an enjoyable Sunday!
