I have created an email forward from WA to a Gmail alias.

I plan to receive all my emails this way, have them all in one place for ease of management.

If I want to

what i do is to creat an email address and then import it into my gmail.
there is a tick box to send email as from this account - tick that and it responds via the linked from account.
i have several emails going to my one gmail account and sending emails back are from the individual account.
good luck
phil

Thanks for that Phil.
I've attached a snip of the dialogue box which popped up after I tried that...it wasn't happy with what I gave it! Would you be able to tell me what the settings you used were?

it is a bit of a faff, but just done it with another email address.
if i remember right - had to do a couple of steps twice so forgive me.
goto gmail account, settings , add other email account.
a tab will pop up
goto your email for your site - sitemanager - emails and then click on smtp at the end.
google settings
gmail name - smtp hostname
email address - username
next page
smtp server - smtp.siterubix.com
port 25
username - smtp username
password - password
tls connection
make sure you get all the details right- i had a space in the username and it chucked it out.
you will need to access your atmail account to get the confirmation email
but it should now go through.
i am using the basic interface as am on an old computer.

Thanks Phil I'll try that again later and let you know how it went 👍

I have the same problem! I have my WA email forwarded to Gmail (for convenience purposes) and when I reply they get my Gmail address. I tried to use an alias, but if the WA email is forwarded, it cannot be done (according to WA support). So the only way to reply with the same email address as on your website is to delete the forwarded address to Gmail and use the WA interface…Which I don’t like very much… I haven’t decided yet what to do…

Thanks Denis.

It's a pain to use webmail on the platform...you would have to log in and out of each one individually, so if you have lots of email addresses!!!

Maybe the answer is just have one email per site....don't want to make hard work of things.

Like you, I'm going to have a think about this one! 😊

If you go to Google Gsuite you can set that up with them let them do all the hard work for you That is what they are able to do. They Will merge what you are describing. The only other thing I suggest is use a free phone number configuring and set it up with a message to call them back. Don't use your own phone number.

I did that once when I was doing real estate and got so many crank calls, it really sucked for a while. I think we should put a phone number up on our website to be contacted at. Some people are still old school. Best of luck Rob, let me know if you need anymore help. I'm here to help if you need it.

Brian

Thanks for the suggestion Brian.

I don't think I'll be having too many people contact me at this point, so I've got time to think about which is the best option. 👍

Very true Rob.

Rob, correct and good answers here. Go for it!

Thanks Joe!

Hi - yes, of course you can. Make sure you are following the Online Entrepreneur Certificate training, as that will be the most beneficial to you.

The Bootcamp training focuses on the money making online niche, and specifically on promoting new members to WA.

You are correct in thinking that a replicated site given to you by a company is rarely successful.

Thanks for your response Diane!

yes, you can build a website to do anything you wish. E-commerce is one of the several options you have. As long as it is on a Wordpress platform, you can have it here.
I hope this helps.
Ken

It does indeed help Ken, thank you!
