Mastering the art of letting go.

I have just published a new blog post on this topic, and realized that it applies to affiliate marketing as well. So here is my advice.

If a niche doesn't suit you, or isn't your passion, it's better to quit it right away and look for something you are truly passionate about. If you stick to your first idea hoping that it will eventually make you rich, but you're not particularly keen on lawn mowers or refrigerators, or whatever your niche website is, success is not very likely.... You will abandon it as soon as you run out of ideas for posts. The longer you wait, the more difficult it becomes to quit.

My first website only got 7 posts and just a couple of views. I wasn't passionate about it, so it didn't make sense to persist.

My current blog is doing much better, as I feel engaged and write for pleasure.

Read here about how I got bogged down (literally), and eventually learned the art of letting go:

Thanks for your post, Marta. The art of letting go applies in so many other areas of life as well. We shouldn't become a victim of the monkey trap.

Hi Marta,

I enjoyed reading this post, but I enjoyed the full version on your website Climbing the Cliff..

Thank you

Antonio
