Progress after 5 months

Okaaay first blog post here we go.

Welp.

Since joining WA in October 2016, I've come a long way. I started out thinking I could post reviews of smartphone electronics. So I put up a siterubix website, designed it, put up one smartphone review that, in all honesty wasn't even that great.

Then I stopped. University work was piling up and I wasn't enjoying my degree in the slightest. Long story short, around mid November, I quit WA and didn't touch it until very late January of 2017 because of university related drama. So technically, after overcoming the trials of my previous university and making the decision to withdraw, I really started making progress in February.

Now, my website is looking great (if I do say so myself). I'm in the education niche giving tips and advice to current students studying the IB Diploma program in their last two years of highschool. As a former IB student, I know plenty about it and so it made sense to me to create the site.

I've designed the website to be a membership website so hopefully once it gains traction, I'll be getting a steady income stream.

My plan for the next 3 months is to continue developing the site and learn Dutch. I'm currently living in the Netherlands because that's where my former university, TU Delft, is. I will soon be transferring universities to one in the neighboring city called Rotterdam. In the meantime, my goal is to become proficient in Dutch and increase the traffic to my website.

My plan for the next 6 months is to start seeing revenue results on my website. I've been working on a daily basis to crank out content and will soon be marketing it through social media like Facebook where I am in a group with my class of 2016 IB student graduates.

Hopefully in the next 6 months, I will be able to achieve financial independence from my parents who have, luckily for me, supported me thus far. I realistically don't see myself making thousands but it would be nice to have enough cash to support my food and rent needs. That's the plan anyway.

So. That's the end of my first blog. I've just finished the second certification course and will shortly be moving on to the next one. Looking forward to learning more!
