How Did I Land in Facebook Jail?

I have been chatting with WONDERFUL people from around the world lately. About 20 of us met up on FB to do a tag, like and share party yesterday. I REALLY enjoyed engaging with everybody. At least until Facebook threw me in JAIL.

My ability to join groups, like pages or send friend requests has been revoked PLUS I can't post links.

I am at a loss as to why this has happened. Particularly because other than sending maybe friend requests I hadn't done any of the things I have been restricted from doing.

I know one of the times I did a speaking gig I was "locked up" because I sent a total of 60 friend requests withing a couple of hours. They had all checked the Yes! Friend me on Facebook box on my newsletter sign up. But this time around I am thoroughly stumped.

I am curious if anyone else has found themself sitting in Facebook Jail without understanding why.

Oh, and if you'd like to be friends on Facebook just send me a request. I can accept - just can't send.

Be Well,

I have been in twitter jail before but had a Gitmo account for that, back in business in 5-minutes! As for FB I'm not much of a fan, I guess a Gitmo account, might at least, get ya back into ads are us. PM a few of your friends let them knew your back (under a different name) until this blows over. Good luck! :)

That's frustrating! I wish I had an answer for you, I'm interested to know if you find out why they threw you in jail.
I hope you get sprung soon!

Thanks. Me too! I have a SaaS project launching March 1 2016 and our first engagement is via FB.

I don't do enough on Facebook to get in trouble with them, but I find Facebook terribly confusing and arbitrary.

Extremely arbitrary. But it is a no cash cost platform. I use it for connecting with people I meet through other real world events.
