So this is cool. However, I did submit my site here, https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/submit-url?pli=1. I also submitted my site to Bing here, http://www.bing.com/toolbox/submit-site-url although, I haven't checked yet to see if it has been index there yet.

I just looked on bing for my site, #1 Baby!!! I'm at the top of page 2 on Google.

Of course I did an exact search for my website name, but still, I think it's a step in the right direction. I also looked at yahoo and I'm in the #3 spot there.
