RSS Feed - How To Send New Blog Posts To Your Email List Automatically
In previous years I have created a couple of blog posts here at WA regarding RSS feeds. [Maybe you are not knowing about this at all these days. In summary, RSS was used to send a link to new content on your website. Your subscribers would be signed up for a RSS reader service which would send a notification that a new link had been received.]
This was clever technology for its time. But it fell out of favor as social media developed and instant texting.
However, hidden within every WordPress Theme is a line of code in the header section referring to "feed".
In conjunction with your autoresponder service, you can make use of this "feed" to notify your email list as soon as you upload a new blog post. THIS STILL WORKS NOW.
If you want to know more then see my previous blog posts which have instructions on how to set this up.
