Stay at Home Mom - Returning to Work
Not what I had in mind for this new year! - Stay at home mom (that's me) is returning to work.
Changing Course
Sometimes, circumstances come at you full speed and leave you no option but to change course. However, abandoning ship is not an option for me. Determination to stay at Wealthy Affiliate and eventually, make this my main income stream is sustaining my hope.
Fear of the Unknown
Tomorrow, I will begin another chapter in my life. However, sadness overcomes me, as I realize, my time here every week will be much less than what is required to be efficient at affiliate marketing. Fear of the unknown is overcoming me, but I will strive to learn and grow. Hopefully, I will learn to be more structured, as I will have extremely less time to accomplish my tasks and goals at Wealthy Affiliate.
Encouragement From Those Who Dream
Encouragement is much-needed when attempting to follow your dreams. That is especially true, when it seems that all is lost, due to some event that prevents or makes it difficult for you to pursue your dreams. Reading profiles at Wealthy Affiliate has been encouraging, as I read about the obstacles that some members are having to overcome to achieve their dreams of internet success. Then, I start to remember that success rarely comes without many battles that have to be fought along the way.
I encourage the newbies at Wealthy Affiliate to practice time-management (extremely important), follow the training, and continue full-speed ahead. I believe, with all that is within me, that you are on the brink of making your dreams come true!
Best wishes to everyone!

Hi River,
There are many of us here who work and do WA on the side. It’s still doable, but perhaps not as fast as we’d like. Like you, I wish I could spend all my time on my sites but alas that is not going to happen right now. (It is my dream!!)
Yesterday I made a blog post that I’d reached 260,000 words I’d written through site content - that was all whilst working and being the primary carer to our twin boys. I have learnt to be extremely efficient with my time through necessity.
I think for us our goals will just take a little longer to reach because we can’t dedicate our whole selves to it.
I wish you all the best with your new job, and with your sites.
Cheers
Melissa
Good luck with your return to work River, and I agree about time management. No matter how little time you have, success can be achieved. Devising a plan of action and setting out goals is the way forward. I'm lucky in that I don't go out to work, but still have lots of tasks other than Wealthy Affiliate to complete each day. Best wishes. Kathy
Hi River, You have some good replies. I agree with them.
In normal circumstances you never pack in your job unless you have another to start in order to keep earning.
Here you CAN continue to work and allow some time to do your training with WA as well.
There are members of the community doing that in order to keep a regular income until such times they are able to leave their 9-5 job and work from home instead.
There's no time limit, it can be done at your pace.
Don't forget to make some time for yourself.
Good Luck!

Hi, River!!! Sometimes it isn't what you have, it's how you use it. You may have less time, but that will encourage you to be more effective and focused with your time here. It will be ok. You're doing what you need to do. We will always be here!!!!
