An Epiphany (with a confession attached)
So in my experience, epiphanies are sometimes curious things. Often they are more like realizations, It's something that you really should have known and seen all along but didn't until "poof" it suddenly hits you right between the eyes, as the one I'm about to share did!
I have been methodically working through the training here at WA and learning how to properly build an affiliate site. This morning as I was rolling through the "Engagement" portion, I realized that proper Comments on posts, and responding to them promptly, is REALLY important! DUH! I hadn't given them a lot of attention. This of course has hurt the development of my site but luckily when I started the WA training I decided to build a test site as a training exercise, so I haven't really lost anything.
In the headline of this post I referred to a confession so here goes. I was blowing off worrying about Comments on my site and commenting on other members posts because I was focused on getting through the training. But I now realize why there is so much emphasis on members sharing comments and replies. Because it works and helps us all!
So to all my fellow WA friends I am truly sorry and will attempt to spend more time commenting on your posts. It helps us all and that's what this community is all about. I now know that it's nearly impossible to build an affiliate marketing business alone and the interaction, encouragement and helpfulness of all of us working together is a HUGE part of reaching our goals.
TO OUR SUCCESS!
Ric

This is so true - on a website responses start conversations which encourage return traffic. By the way, Epiphany ended two weeks ago. Just thought i would through that in. thanks for the post.
Thanks Jim so true. Yes I'm a bit behind on my schedule lol. I was referring to an epiphany rather than the epiphany. I thought the banner looked good and gave a little spirituality to the post.
The best thing about commenting on other people's posts is it builds your reputation. The additional engagement earned on your site is a great way to seed discussion that will, in turn, build a loyal readership. I cringe when I see people miss all of that gold because they don't yet understand the power tools WA has for them.
Yes I'm just learning that now lol! I'm going to put a lot more focus on this area. Thanks Andy!
