Building Trust With Your Audience

Some years ago I met a very successful marketer who told me there was one thing he always did to build trust with his audience that captured the attention of his website visitors.

He always did his homework by researching his competitors websites and was amazed at how boring some of them were and how there wasn't anything to keep his attention. He'd typically leave within seconds and go to another site.

One day while reviewing a competitors website, he realized every question he had about the specific niche of the site he was on, was answered on the website.

He said It was one of the best revelations he'd ever had, a turning point in his business, so that same day he created a list of "10 Should Ask Questions" about the niches he was promoting.

Take some time and think about your niche. Think about questions your customer should ask and want answers to. There's a difference in questions they might ask and questions they should ask.

Think about what questions you'd have if you were looking for your own product or service and provide the answers on your website.

He said from that day on his visitors spent considerably more time on his site and he had a substantial increase in sales almost overnight.

Answer your potential customers questions before they ask and you'll build trust with your audience.

He also did the same thing when writing articles and posting content on Social Media Sites.
