if he is building your site then you can add him as a administrator t oyour wordpress site...
he will then be able to access the backend and make any changes...
once finished you can either delete the user or downgrade it to subcriber...
Ah, I see. If you trust the friend so much, you can give them your login credentials. But...beware! I wish you can just learn how to do this yourself because this is what you are paying for. The training is great.
However, you better about yourself than I think. The only way then is to entrust your site to your friend or hire a professional who can build it for you.
But this means going back and forth, especially whenever you have to post an article. This business relies heavily on content creation and marketing, things we better do, ourselves. It's a business.
I hope this helps. I would love to hear your thoughts on these suggestions.
John
Thank you for your information. The business is a pressure washing business and all pages are static. It is just a place to advertise our business and for customers to request a quote.
Ah, I see, so no need to create content every week or month. Now, take the first option then. Give them access to your Admin account from the WordPress end. They might not need to log in to your WA account at all.
John
Hi Rick!
It seems that if you give him your login to your WA account, he can go to the Websites area, Site Manager, and act as you.
I don't think that violates any rules, he's just helping you out.
When done, you can change your login if need be.

Setting up a website that isn't for my affiliate marketing.?

Also to what Phil (feigner) stated once you have your friend given the admin rights do know they can so anything to your site like you. So once he builds your site as Phil stated downgrade his right to subscriber or delete it if you don't need him because as an admin he can also have total control of your site including deleting the site or even taking you out if you have issues down the track so beaware of that as well.
Also note building the foundation to your website is not as hard as you think. You can use the recommended Generatepress theme here and there is pleanty of trainng and support to help you do it yourself.
Just a thought to think about.
Wishing you well

How to link my about me page to the menu?
How to Link a page to its appropriate menu item
I am doing a website where I want to place static pages and not show an author. Is this possible not to show the author?
Hi Rick
You can try adding CSS code, which is quite easy.
From your back office dashboard
Go to Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS.
Paste the code below and click Publish.
.byline, .post-author, .meta-author {
display: none !important;
}
If by chance it doesn't work, it's easy enough to delete.
If you have any other questions, we're here!

Tim, I did enter that in. Don't know if it worked or not. Someone suggested using a block and I did that and it worked. I really wanted to make blocks for this sit anyway. Rick
You can use CSS to remove different aspects from being displayed on your posts, from author to publishing date to categories and tags. This tutorial shows you that process: How to Use ChatGPT for Removing Elements from Being Displayed on Your Website
if you are creating a page you have full control - except for the header and footer in most cases...
os creating the page from blocks will not show up the author- jsut the text....
if it does then there maybe options within your appearance>>customize to switch off various sections...

I would like to see some sample posts promoting WA. I am just beginning and would like some ideas.
Think about the kind of people who might be interested in WA then think about what kind of things they might search in Google.
I'd do a Google search. Perhaps something like Wealthy Affiliate Review + year/ Is Wealthy Affiliate worth it, etc. If it's a positive one I guess it belongs to WA members.
Hi, Rick
If you can take the core training, you will find all this in one of the lessons or even create your very first post.
You can get started by visiting the business hubs to choose a business idea, which is the direction for everything you will ever learn and do here at Wealthy Affiliate.
To get started, click on the Hubs tab in the main navigation menu. Let's know if you need a hand.

How do I get the .com email for my new domain
you only have the option of creating an email inbox now - you can import the settings into your normal email from the smtp settings....
goto websites>>sitemanager>>siteemails ( along the top)
and create an email for your domain....
don't forget you can have multiple emails per domain..
so
me@xxx.com ( i would use my first name here)
support@xxx.com
spo@xxx.com ( security processing officer for gdpr processing)
You have two choices when you do it, you can read your emils within the system or you can forward them to an email you read daily, you cannot do both
Hi Rick,
I always use the search bar at the top of the page for anything I'm looking for and usually Kyle or one of the other top trainers and people in here have a video or similar training/answers to the above.
Have a great day.
Thanks
