It's Easy To Get To Page 1 of YouTube
I found that it's quite easy to get to Page 1 of YouTube. What you should do is, find a long tail keywords that fit what video you made. For example, don't just put weight loss, that's way too general and there is a ton of competition. Go for, “Weight loss for women over 50.” Now, before I go on, run this through your Jaaxy Keyword Tool to get other ideas. Now, put this keyword phrase in:
Title
Description
In the Keyword Tags
In the Description, have this is part of a natural sentence and change the word order later on in the description. In the keyword tags (that many people don't bother to use) put it in different word orders. Example:
weight loss for women over 50
women over 50 weight loss
weight loss for woman over 50 (singular)
Warning: don't over do it in the Description or the Keyword Tags or you can get flagged by YT. Then you are set to go.
There is a video that I put up over a year ago and it's #37 on YouTube under: “birthday party in Cyprus” out of a possible 51,000. I was just playing around, as you can see it's a simple video. Now, imagine you putting a video up that is more entertaining and has a little text intro to the video.
Now, think of this and what you can do for local businesses!
YouTube Page 1 is important to strive for, too. Why? Because more and more people prefer to watch videos than they do reading text. Google knows that, and that is why they bought it. Since they bought it, more people are using YouTube as their search engine of choice, as you can find just about anything you want there. Also, a video can do a much better job in showing “how to” do something than text. Also, people simply like to be entertained!
When you are making your website, you should have videos on it, too. It makes it more entertaining. If don't have any videos, you can always add them. Make your own video or use someone else's – if it pertains to what you are selling or talking about. You can legally put someone else's video up and Google encourages this. That is why they allow embedding. You can link to a video or you can embedded it on your site.
You can have a video of you talking what the article says as well as the text. The reason is, that there are different learning modalities between people.
