How NOT to market your business - 101!

Morning folks!

I woke up this morning and, probably like most people, picked up my mobile to check on the world. (Its ok...The world was still there!) BUT...

I had loads of Whatsapp notifications from unknown numbers??

The 2nd time this has happened to me in a week.

Someone had decided that the best way to promote their online business was to set up a Whatsapp group, add every number he could possibly get his hands on and then spam the group with info about his online business!? (He obviously assumed SPAMMING was ok? It's his group, he can do what he likes, yeah?)

Well no! The "masses" can very quickly turn when they feel taken advantage of. I met this guy at a business event a little while ago and spoke with him for only a few minutes. Judging by the sharp responses in the group, I think some of the folks knew him even less well than I did!

So, what happened?

The guy did a runner! That's right!! He left his own group quicker than i could say "How NOT to market your business - 101!"

And the crazy thing...He left so quickly that he didn't even have time to post his business links. All we can guess is the name of the Whatsapp group represents the name of the company he is promoting.

Unbelievable!

I'll make a point of introducing him to WA 'cos, lets be fair folks...It looks like he needs all the help he can get!

Right...Things to do and people to see so its time to get going.
