I thought I'd share this verse as I found it inspirational. It also says more than I ever could about keeping your dreams safe from the dream-stealers that everyone has in their life, some obvious, some less so.

A supervisor asked me if I had 2 wishes what would they be? I replied:
1. To get my head together and make the right decisions for my future
2. Know what I want in life.
I then asked him about his and he replied:
1. Eradicate the world of poverty where money was no longer an issue
2. Be superman

Although I like the 'Superman' answer I think you've already got you head together and made the right decision. I also feel that you're starting to know what you want in life.
I think you gave him a very good answer. Dreams don't need to have a material meaning but they do need to be something you can move towards, checking your progress with smaller goals being achieved along the way.
