Aaaaaargh!
A friend of mine who is a designer and serious fashionista is really keen to start a website/blog and feature the things she thinks are interesting and fashionable, as well as her own designs. What's putting her off is how to put product pictures on her site, specifically the issues regarding copyright protection on images she might want to use. I know nothing about fashion (she has confirmed this), but I kow it takes time to get traffic built up before you can start reaching out to affiliate programmes. Similarly, to get into blogging programmes, your site needs a lot of steady traffic. And there's the Catch 22. How can you get traffic on a fashion site if you can't use product images? Or is there a way round it? If anyone out there in our WA family knows or would like to make a suggestion that would help a budding entrepreneur, I'd be glad to hear.

You don't always need to be established as many affiliate programmes are available to new websites. Plus if you are promoting their goods using their links then copyright won't be an issue.
