Never Quit. Never, Never, Never
To quote Ross Perot: “Most people give up just when they’re about to achieve success. They quit on the one-yard line. They give up at the last minute of the game one foot from a winning touchdown.”
I have to admit that I've thought a lot about giving up on all this affiliate marketing stuff lately. It just seems too hard. It seems like I'm putting a lot of effort into this, doing a lot of writing, but seeing no results.
Then I thought. Surely I'm not the only person who has ever felt this way. So I did some research. And you know what? I was right. Any person who has ever achieved anything worthwhile has experienced his or her share of self-doubt and failure. It's just part of the journey.
No one said this was going to be easy. So many gurus out there make it seem like a cakewalk. It's not. It takes discipline and work. Then it takes more discipline and more work.
The above quote is very relevant to what I'm saying here. None of us knows just how close we are to success. And if we quit, we'll never know. For me, it's important to realize and accept that setbacks are indeed part of the journey. The important thing is to stay in the game, no matter what. Never quit!

I agree. Many years ago I hunted for much of my family's food. On days when I found not tracks or signs, I would want to give up, but I would think ... just over that hill. After another hundred yards would make the difference. Don't give up. Adjust direction or technique but don't give up.
Jim
Absolutely. As a matter of fact, winners never ever quit! The journey is long and hard. But, it is doable and profitable in the end
.
Passive income doesn't just happen overnight. Learning comes before earning.
Persistence and dedication to the cause are necessary.
So, hang in there and don't let go, Bob.
Best regards,
Maxine
What an amazing, inspirational post! :)
I too feel like quitting all the time! I constantly find myself grinding out content, thinking I must be mad. Who would do this to themselves? I've constantly given up so many times in the past... and you know what? Every time I gave up, I FAILED!
I've done this so many times it's unbelievable - but, with the help of WA, I'm finally seeing the light, I'm finally seeing that I have to be in it for the long haul. Keep grinding out the content - believe in yourself, believe in your story, your article, your message, whatever it may be.
You only fail IF you give up. You won't fail, if you NEVER give up!
Every one of those previous times I tried something, but gave up, could have been THE ONE, but I will never know.
Keep pushing! Stay strong!
Alex
I have also tried many projects but quit before I found any success. But not this time. Setbacks are to be expected. It's just part of the journey. You and I just need to hang in there and never, never quit!
Seems like we have a lot in common in this area. Would you be interested in being accountality partners? We can communicate through Messages. We can encourage each other through the inevitable difficult times.
Most definitely! Sounds amazing! :)
Anything that can help us both in our journey would be brilliant. I will help you as much as I am able, however, I'm new to all this myself, so I'll do the best I can with what limited knowledge I have.
As you'll see in my profile, I actually joined in 2017, but did NOTHING with it! I only recently (5th May 2023) paid for Premium membership and have been learning/grinding ever since. XD
Let's do this! :)
Great! I've only been here since March. I think it's good to have a little 1:1 support. I'll send you a PM soon.
Hey Bob, it is discouraging sometimes, and we all get negative thoughts when things don't go to plan.
We are here to learn, and in my case, it is frustrating trying to learn while having one technical problem after another.
It can sometimes bring negative thoughts.
Jay said that when discouraged and wanting to quit, think about everything you knew when you started and what you know now.
It works for me to give you a little perspective on how much more you know about everything.
Have a great day!
Chet
Great advice, Chet! :)
Technical problems are a real threat to stoicism and commitment, it can be make or break.
You have to keep going!

Never quit..there are so many stories out there of people who pushed beyond their barriers to achieve their goals. Being able to push through the pain defines those who really want to succeed to those who just think they want to succeed. JK Rowling is one such story.
At her lowest ebb, she was unemployed, a single mother and in a depression so severe that at times she contemplated suicide. Coupled with her dire financial situation, Rowling had to rely on welfare benefits to survive. But she persevered, and we can too.
