Is amazon worth the trouble?
I have used Amazon for a couple of years and have made sales, but commissions have been insignificant. At this point, Amazon is no longer accepting "widgets", which I take to mean links to specific products within my blog articles.
I have used Amazon only because it has been easy to set up links. I now need to set up better paying affiliates, but am wondering if anyone is now using Amazon profitably. And how?
I do have better affiliates, but am in search for more in the home fitness industry.
Thanks!

Have you checked to see if your links still work?
As far as I know the change only applies to how you source your links. Previously you got them from within your asociates commission home page. Now you havbe to source them from your Amazon customre account and that account has to have the same log-in details as your associates account as far as I have been able to work out.
I hate that Amazon keeps reducing commissions and buggering us around.
They're big enough to geet away with it

As I said somewhere else they expect the most and give the least. There are a lot of others out there will pay more.
