Stalling with Getting Started with a Gravatar

So...you automatically qualify for a Gravatar so you can review and critique other's sites, I know I've done critiques before, but now I can't do anything without verification to set up my Gravatar. I'm not receiving the verification email, anywhere, and Gravatar support is "unavailable". It says it can take up to a couple of hours to receive the verification email, but normally it only takes a few minutes. I'm very frustrated at this point. I've followed all the steps concerning the issue, as suggested by Gravatar, including resetting my password (which means yet ANOTHER password to remember...lol). Their site states that resetting your password automatically verifies your email, but it's still not letting me review others pages. I'm SO frustrated right now...and this means I'm at a stand still on progress until I can create a Gravatar. I've been trying to complete several lessons/courses per day so that I can get my initial site up and running completely, as I already have a network offline that I can pull, and a facebook page related to my "niche" that I can link. What I need is to get through the lessons so I can start learning how to pull more people, as well as, hopefully, make some more money...and get started on my next "niche" page as well. Hoping this verification shows up soon...
