FINALLY got my Google Adsense account approved!
Here's the thing. It's not necessarily easy to get your site approved for Google ads. It used to be. I have a blog from 2012 that has 5 or 6 posts on it and that blog still generates revenue from those ads. It was also approved instantly back then.
Now? It takes a while. I have two sites that I've been worrying with. One of them was rejected a few times, and I would go though, clean up whatever needed to be fixed, and submit for review again. The other day? Bam. Approved. The ads are there now, they're working, and I couldn't be happier!
My other site? It keeps coming back as "under construction, please fix" which is odd because it's the same setup as the first site, and nothing is under construction. I'm sure it's just an odd glitch or a misunderstanding, so every time it comes back rejected, I clean it up some more and resubmit, just like the first one.
Now, my sites are quite clean. But if the mighty Google says jump, guess what I do? Not only do I jump, I ask them how high they'd like me to jump.
My point is that I don't want any of you to become discouraged if Google Adsense rejects you. They give vague explanations, so try to read those and head over to your site to see what you can fix. Just keep it up and eventually, you will get there. It's not personal. Google wants things a certain way and they aren't always clear about the details. You'll get there eventually, though. Just keep tweaking your site and keep submitting and it will happen for you.

A bit of an update:
Not long after I wrote this blog post, my second site was FINALLY approved for Adsense. So you definitely need to keep re-submitting if you get rejected. Eventually, with some tweaking, you WILL get approved!
