My Take of Wealthy Affiliate (WA)

WA Is a place where you could be trained to become an Affiliate Marketer of WA and Other People Products. Training Resources and communication channels for interactions among WA members are easily available to enhance your learning experience of "How To" do it

Note: - Kyle & Carson vision for WA is to be recognized as a successful Open Education Project and has its 4 core principles: Learn – Network – Build – Succeed.

WA Is Not a place where you could make fast money online. There are no shortcuts provided except plenty of sharing of Knowledge of Internet Marketing and advices on "How To Build a Sustainable & Successful Affiliate Online Business".

STRENGHTS

·Lots of usable and more up-to-date information (videos, tutorials, blogs, conversations) and training materials for Newbie and Experienced WA members alike

·A very cohesive and supportive environment for learning Internet Marketing (IM)

·Weekly classroom training on topics of interest to WA members by an experienced and knowledgeable Trainer Jay (magi studios)

·Many avenues to learn IM in WA (Certified Online Entrepreneur Course, Classroom & Weekly video training and discussion, Blogging, Live Chat and Private messaging with interest group and/or mentor/s.

WEAKNESSES

·No prior knowledge of who are the more experienced and knowledgeable seniors in WA that could help, advice and mentor you onyour own Niche (other than Kyle, Carson and Jay). Note:- Could only know your mentor/s through trial and error, getting to know them through interactions in WA or visiting their websites

·Consumers of tons of usable IM knowledge, leading to Information overload and spending lesser time on being an effective Internet Marker in your own Niche area

OPPORTUNITIES

·Lots of classroom discussions, blogs, Q&A and chats on IM in the community - providing a lot of gems of good and usable ideas on "How to” become an effective Internet Marketer.

THREATS

·Members spending too much time on talking and knowing Internet Marketing (IM) and devoting less time on developing concrete plan, take action and follow up on own Niche website promotion and sales

·WA community being complacent, become more inwards looking and forgetting about the real IM world out there where internet marketing landscape is continuing changing and evolving on a regular basis.

POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENT AREAS

§Boost up WA members support on areas of learning, tutoring and training environments in generic IM and website maintenance (along the same line as profitably and well-run WA Affiliate Boot Camp Program)

§Give a clearer recognition path for experienced and knowledgeable members who have done much to help WA, achieving the owners’ aspiration to succeed in Wealthy Affiliate University Project.

§Propose an exercise to pre-qualify subject/area experts in WA. The proposed listing of experts is made available to WA community. It will make the job of Newbie, looking for coach/mentor much easier and in the process shorten the IM learning curve.
