Comments - spreading love, receiving love
Hello folks,
I was thinking about writing a blog post about the comments as lately, I have required a lot of them as well as I have provided a lot of mines and got some ideas to share with you.
Providing comments has several advantages from the side of the commenter - learning from the articles, practising written English (mostly in my case), but what´s more - active contributing to the WA community.- because I believe we are a helpful community...
So, I want to be an active WA member and do whatever I can and my time allow me to help people as giving the comments to the articles of the WA members.
What I have noticed lately, there come some non-authentic comments, when the commenter only copied some previously published comment and give it out for himself as a new authentic comment - I seriously don´t think there is a duty to comment at all if the user is not able to create new, original comment. Have some of you faced this experience as well? I have declined such comment right away, without a mercy.
On another side - I have provided one comment to some website, which did the review of some products. I have written an original, authentic comment and as a result, it has been declined as the post owner wanted some comment from a former user of the product...
OK, I agree, this could be the reason for declining it (I don´t care about the declined comment at all, it has been 1 only and it not springs my vines, I do not want to cry here for that, I assure you), however, after some days I have checked this article again and find out, there was only 1 comment under this post and was not from the product´s user as it was some general comment only..what the hell?
Honestly - if I write some authentic, no matter how much general comment (is impossible to use everything that is on sale now,), it goes to the point of the article and the owner of the post decline my comment because he waits until some commenter will use the product...?
I don´t want to complain - this post should be just and informative one about what sometimes could happen during providing and receiving comments - there are quite interesting situations from time to time and it should not discourage you from helping the WA members monetize their website...and comments are very powerful tool!
I just want to ask you to be helpful, to be unique and original and if you do not have the mood or power to provide the comment, come again later on. Do not risk declining due to silly plagiarism.
If someone provides you with some general comment, but same time is the comment unique and goes to the point, the person probably spend some time writing it and thinking about the post content, do not decline is just because of some unimportant reason (e.g. as described above).
The comment itself is very important for the Google ranking, it shows there are some trust and audiences and the most important is, there is WA commenter (not some enemy) on the other side - this could be me or you any time you are providing or receiving comments, remember that.
Thank you for your attention and wish you all great summer!
Bye Renata

Well said Renata, we are all in this together, helping each other is a big part of WA. You can learn a lot reading people's blog posts. I do anyway.
As for declining comments, if you have taken your time to leave a well thought out comment after reading the post. why would they decline your comment? I don't understand it as they asked for a comment in the first place.

Hello Frank,
Thank you for your comment!
I have no idea why there was declined comment as there is still only 1 comment below the post I have commented and it is definitely not what was required as per the comment of the owner.
But there are different kind of people among us and sometimes is hard to understand their actions, hopefully, if there are another declined comments, the reason why will make more sense to me:).
Have a great day!
Bye Renata

Comments can be tricky. I tend to bend over backwards to accept unless they are really far off the mark. Occasionally, though, I'll get one that I just don't want on my website. Then it is time to delete.
