Be Flexible With Your Online Business

Lately I've been thinking about the direction I want to take with my niche websites at Wealthy Affiliate. When I signed up at the end of August (2016), I had so many ideas I wanted to try them all - at once! That lead to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure of how quickly I could progress through certification and affiliate bootcamp. Now that I've created a balance between managing other projects and WA, I've come to a crossroads about the type of website I want to focus on going forward.
Do I want to focus on a site that feels like 'work' or one that is fun and makes me happy? The answer seems clear, however it is difficult to give up an idea that I've already implemented and know can be valuable in the long run. On the other hand, it may be best to let go of an idea before too much time and effort has passed, making it more difficult to let go in the future.
I joined Wealthy Affiliate to create a career that I love. One that feels like work 20% of the time (at most) and is fun and interesting the other 80%. I think the best approach is to be flexible a realize that just because I thought I was on one path, WA allows me the freedom to choose a different direction because options to change will always be there in the future.
Have you experienced this type crossroad? If so what was your decision?
