Updating my fellow WA friends!

I've been working my first site diligently creating content and networking it on a few fronts, Facebook groups that I'm involved with and a friend that does radio in my area. I'm excited about it all. And in commission junction I have 23 affiliates that offered me their links to start business relationships with them. It's very exciting and I plan to keep beating paydirt until every stone is turned. I tried doing two sites at the same time but just starting out at the beginning, I've found out I focus a little bit better with the one site at a time approach. Once I'm done loading it up properly with my affiliates advertising and product links then I'll move to the second one. This way I get the first one working like a well oiled machine and have less hold-ups like the first one with the learning curve in practice! It's Exciting... I do have one question to the community, does anyone find doing the actual page design itself a little daunting? I know we don't want to be plain Jane with many others with a similar look but some of these sites are really visually stimulating. I know I don't want to fall short!
