Common types of SPAM and How to protect them?

Comment spam is one of the common one that ever thing in the digital world. This type of spam is used to buildback links. The spammer uses software, such as ScrapeBox, to find right targets to play them with and create blacklinks to the spammer’s website.

Most spammers don’t spend too much time checking these things. They just blast everything in their way, as long as they’re related to their niche. This is what happens, when you forgot to protect from comment spam and left unmonitored for a while. As found, 12,000 spammers comments, were not actually live, since they weren’t auto approved, but still has risk. When the server gets slow and Google banning IP for Gmail is the most chances it happens immediately.

What heppense is when the WordPress notifications were so many in such a short time and that moment Google sent them directly in the Spam section, noboddy knows about this tricks until user send any e-mails their business addresses, sometime when you're not using CAPTCHA. Another way to use Wordpress plugin to remove all comments at once rather deleting manually. As i know CMS (Content Management System) is the another popular platform that do the job.

Question is how can we solve this problem? Well let's see

1. Ad a Google Recaptcha plugin on every other section of the website, login page, contact forms, also can use any Captcha plugin. There is also bunch of software out there that can solve these automatically.,

2. You can if try to activate the Akismet Anti-Spam plugin. It comes pre-installed with WordPress, it’s easy to set up and very effective. This plugins should be available for other platforms as well. Hopefully, you should be safe to auto approve comments with this plugin when installed. I believe in "OLD SHOE" some time, meaning is in my case i use manual system if needed.

Even with Captcha and Anti-Spam plugins, it’s still a good idea to manually approve comments on your website. Do whatever way you feel good. One thing is always true, that comments are useful for SEO, it could be year Old. Sometime you may need to change some area of contents and comments helps better results. Specially Googles likes fresh content, keep updatting.

I am posting this for my blog as well as one of my WA member requesting help recently. Hopefully it helps??
