On dashboard, under 'appearance' > 'widgets', I am missing 'navigation menu' and I only have option for 'footers', there is no 'sidebar' navigation option. How can I create
I am not sure what your question refers to. Under the appearance tab on my site I see a tab for menus. When clicked, it opens up dialog boxes to manage menu locations and edit menus. From here you can choose where you wish your created menu to appear. There is no topic called "navigation menu" on my site. Can you send a screen shot to help me better understand your question?

Thanks for responding muhsayy. I see the 'navigation menu' now; don't know why was not there before. I think I'll take it from here. Thank you.
Here's a copy that shows the navigation menu on the 'Widgets' menu....
