How to add a date button just before each post?
Hi everyone, I have seen many members have beautiful colored date buttons just prior to each post. It shows the date of when blog post was published. Thanks, Rich

There might be a section in your theme settings that let you set the format of information on posts. Check quick edit on a post and see if it shows an author and date. Hope this helps. I was also looking in settings under general and writing, might be there for you.
It might be a WordPress theme feature, but by any chance do you have an example of what you mean so that I can see what you may be referring too?

I think that when you set the date in your WP theme that is why it shows up on your blog when you publish it. Maybe the others are right when they say it's part of your theme if it shows up or not. You could try setting the date and see if it shows up next time you publish.
