The work begins
I have not blogged in a couple of weeks. I know that was a goal for every Thursday but the time just got away from me. I really have been working on the first lesson in Course 2 of the Bootcamp. It is tougher than I thought. I tend to be a perfectionist when it comes to web sites and I over think things. I want mine to look like the beautiful products I see all you guys putting out there that have been here awhile.
I need to move on I know but I keep seeing the heading that needs to be tweaked, the paragraph that needs a little more space or the text that really should be bolder to stand out. It goes on and on. Then I looked up and thought oh my it is MAY! I have 7 months to complete my goals. Time is flying and I am wasting it on spaces and blue words.
I have often told my students when programing not to sweat the small stuff at first. Get the big picture down. The theme of the program, what you want it to say and do, etc. Then we will work on the prettiness. And I find myself now doing exactly what I teach not to do.
I am moving on. If my site is not a pretty as I think it should be, it will be by the end of the year. I do not have to accomplish 100% in a day. There is time, it is flying by, but there is time.
