Hi All,

I have registered as an Amazon Affiliate and would like to start promoting the network. on my site but am rather clueless as how to go about it.

Could you please tell me how i can add the HTML code onto my article. I am ok with adding images from my gallery etc but I am kinda lost on adding the Amazon way, I don't know how to go about pasting the html into the code for my website.

Rean.

Put the Html code in a text widget and place the widget in the area of your site in which you wish the ad to display, top, sidebar or bottom.

Hi Grandma1945,
Thanks for the assistance, I am going back to rework on it.
Will keep you posted.
Cheers,
Rean

Have you been able to resolve this issue? You can do text links or widgets or text and images together in Amazon.

Sorry for the delay responding. . Yes I got the problem resolve..Thanks for asking

You are welcome!

1. Log into your Amazon Associate account.
2. Find the product on Amazon.
3. Click on "Short Link To This Page" (top menu) and copy the link.
4. In your post or page in WordPress, highlight the word(s) you want to turn into the link.
5. Click the link icon.
6. Paste in the Amazon short link.

Thank you so much Marcus for the advice on clocking the words I would want to be click able. But
I also would like to incoprate the html for an image of amazon's affiliate program so that it's clickable.
Thanks
Rean

Do you want to put it on a widget (ads on your sidebar) or do you want it to put into your content? Amazon also provides text and image affiliate links.

Hi Norz..

Initially I was looking for advice on how to incorporate the image into the content but i have now mastered how to put it in the sidebar but still needing to get the hang of adding the html to position an image into the content,, I need to take some time and go read through their tutorials.. I am happy with achieving the sidebar installation today,,:)
.I am so grateful for the wonderful advice,
Cheers
