I was swept up by a feeling of overall joy, this morning, I was walking my dog and looking at the ocean and the sun was radiating on my skin and the utter feeling of joy rushed through my veins. I realized how lucky I was to be in this moment, The breeze blowing through my hair, the seagulls flying overhead, feeling as though i was part of nature and life was happening all around me. I noticed the littlest things. An older retired couple walking down the street holding hands and smiling, still just as in love, as they were when they met. A little kid playing in the waves was knocked over by this big one and instead of coming up from the white wash with a feeling of defeat he had this big wide smile on his face as he raised his hands in the air with a feeling of accomplishment towards his mother. My life has been going quite well lately since I have decided to change the way I do things, the way I look at things, and realize I am in control of my destiny. Life's not easy but it becomes so much easier when you seize the moment. The moments of disappointment fade away and your outlook on them change as well. For you know that this moment no matter how bad or good, will too pass, and the next moment is full of possibility. This has helped me to become a happier and better me.
